Significant Natural Resources (SNR) - Rural focus and clean-up (Required by state law and Board direction)
- Update our natural resource regulations for the rural area to ensure they are clear and objective
- Make any changes identified during the first year of implementation of the urban SNR regulations
Climate-Friendly and Equitable Communities implementation (Required by state regulation)
- Develop changes in land use planning regulations and processes to comply with state transportation and land use planning rules adopted July 2022
- Adopt boundaries for Metro 2040 Town Centers that don't yet have boundaries (including Raleigh Hills and Sunset Transit Town Centers)
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Pre-Implementation Compliance Measures Adoption (Required by the federal government)
- Revise the CDC to address new floodplain requirements by FEMA to protect salmon and steelhead
